Live poetry reading of Enki and mini-workshop

A collaboration with the poet Alex Lambie, author/keeper of enki, to open a conversation about inner wisdom, and connection to our community and nature in today’s world

In 2010, the poet Alex Lambie wrote enki, a modern fable that powerfully describes the social, environmental and spiritual demise of our World and identifies how humanity can re-establish balance. Shared through spoken word, hearing enki has fostered hope and compassion in many through a fleeting but indelible reconnection with universal truths born in all of us and in all things.

After being deeply moved by enki, the team of One Resilient Earth offered to organize weekly readings of enki, followed by a free-flowing conversation with participants. Open conversations soon turned into mini-workshops on questions such as: how do we unearth our own resilience?  or how can the wisdom of enki help us relate to some of the violent events happening in the world those days?

The mini-workshop formats offers a safe space to share feelings, throughts and ideas openly, and reflect with a community of purpose, of all ages, and from diverse countries. Until July 5th, you are welcome to join us every Sunday at 11 am EST, 4pm BST, 5 pm CEST, 8.30 pm IST. The event is free and online, but you need to register to get access.

“I had no expectations going into the enki journey, but it really touched my heart. It made me incredibly sad, whilst also generating hope and energy to want to spring into action. It touches on everything I think we all know to be true but hate to admit, even to ourselves and makes you look at your kids and yourself with different eyes.

Every time I listen to enki something else happens which is hard to put into words, but if I sit down outside when listening to it, I feel incredibly connected to the world around me. I would urge listeners to sit down quietly outside and take deep breaths before starting, to give themselves time and space to connect with the full enki experience “
