[EN] One Resilient Earth is seeking an experienced illustrator for an online learning project. This position will be covered by a project-based contract.
The illustrator will help us design the main illustrations and elements of the graphic identity for our project ‘Rebooting Connection – for young creative changemakers’. We would need the illustration work to be completed in March 2026.
[FR] One Resilient Earth recherche un.e illustrateur.ice expérimenté.e pour un projet d’apprentissage en ligne. Ce poste sera couvert par un contrat pour ce projet spécifique.
L’illustrateur.ice nous aidera à concevoir une à deux illustrations principales et les éléments de l’identité graphique de notre projet « Rebooting Connection – for young creative changemakers » (Rebooter la connexion – pour les jeunes créateurs de changement). Le travail d’illustration devra être terminé en mars 2026.
Responsibilities/ Responsabilités

- Designing the main illustrations that will be used on the websites of Colibris and One Resilient Earth and across social media so as to promote the Rebooting Connection learning journey
- Designing additional graphic elements to further support the social media campaign
- Giving access to all resources in user-friendly digital formats to Colibris and One Resilient Earth, for use across platforms

Qualifications/ Qualifications

- Prior experience in digital illustration for promotional and social media purposes
- Fluency in English or French
- Some experience in working with environmental questions, climate issues, and/or digitalisation challenges would be an asset

- Maîtrise de l’anglais ou du français
- Une certaine expérience dans le domaine des questions environnementales, des enjeux climatiques et/ou des défis liés à la numérisation serait un atout

Volunteer Opportunities
Communication Volunteer
About the role
One Resilient Earth is seeking motivated volunteers with previous experience in non-profit communication, as well as knowledge of climate change. Our team is international and we are fully open to remote work.
The Communication Volunteer would contribute to the following activities:
- Promoting our events and workshops to enhance participation;
- Supporting our advocacy efforts in relation to climate change and mental health, transforming climate education, as well as transformative and regenerative approaches to climate resilience.
- Maximising the use of Google Ads, through our Google Ad grant, including for fundraising purposes;
- Contributing to strategy and content creation for general social media channels, including developing reels and other video-based content for Instagram and YouTube.
Requirements & skills
- Students or professionals in communication, social impact marketing, non-profit management or related fields.
- Strong editorial and writing skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Powerpoint. WordPress would be an asset.
- Experience managing social media accounts.
- Demonstrated interest in tackling issues related to the environment and climate change.
Time commitment
- 12-20 hours per month (or more, to be discussed)
- Minimum commitment of 2 months, with total duration dependent on project needs.

Community Management Volunteer
About the role
One Resilient Earth is seeking motivated volunteers with previous experience managing online communities, through digital community platforms, regular posting on the community platform, as well as organizing virtual events. The volunteer would be supporting the ‘We are One Resilient Earth‘ community platform, with over 650 members. Our team is international and we are fully open to remote work.
The Community Management Volunteer would contribute to the following activities:
- Carrying out desk-research to help develop a community platform engagement strategy;
- Engaging on the community platform through posts and following up on members’ posts;
- Organizing virtual events for the community platform members;
- Drafting synthesis notes to support impact assessment efforts related to the digital community platform.
Requirements & skills
- Students or professionals with a background in communication, human resources, psychology, sustainability studies, human development, or related disciplines.
- Experience creating, supporting and activating digital communities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Demonstrated interest in tackling issues related to the environment and climate change.
Time commitment
- 12-20 hours per month
- Minimum commitment of 2 months with total duration dependent on project needs.

Artist Outreach & Curation Volunteer
About the role
One Resilient Earth is seeking motivated volunteers with an interest in the arts, environment and climate change to help us with our artist outreach and art curation activities related to our various resilience building projects. We are open to teleworking.
The Artist Outreach & Curation Volunteer would contribute to the following activities:
- Identifying and reaching out to artists from multiple disciplines around the world to participate and contribute in various resilience initiatives.
- Curating artists and artworks that match specified project guidelines.
- Aiding in the design of project materials incorporating artworks including presentations and print.
- Editing and publishing art related content on One Resilient Earth’s website and social media channels, including via Tero Magazine.
Requirements & skills
- Students or professionals in visual arts, literature, theatre, dance, art curation, art direction or related fields.
- Strong editorial and writing skills.
- Experience working directly with artists.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) as well as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and WordPress.
- Demonstrated interest in tackling issues related to the environment and climate change.
Time commitment
- Minimum 12-20 hours per month
- Minimum commitment of 2 months with total duration dependent on project needs.
